As we come to the end of 2023 many of us will be building our strategies for the new year ahead! Marketing is fundamental to the success of any business but even more so in the garment decorating industry. The market is saturated, and the product selection is endless and ever-changing, it is important to market your products at the right time, in the right place using the most current methods.
The global marketing trends for 2024 are primarily digital and we want to get ahead of the curve in this space and offer our customers the most useful, current, and accurate marketing support.
Team Prestige is excited to share that we are embracing a more innovative digital strategy and are making the move away from our printed brochures.
Here are just some of the reasons for us putting a huge focus on digital strategy for 2024!
This industry in the past has been quite wasteful, with a lot of printed materials that become obsolete by the end of the year due to new additions, price changes and discontinued products. By making the decision to focus our efforts on a more digital approach, we eliminate the need for paper. This will in turn reduce the demand and contributes to lowering the impact associated with the production of paper. While our carbon footprint is certainly not perfect, this decision, along with many other environmentally conscious choices, allows us to ensure that we are making moves in the right direction.
Moving away from our physical brochure has so many advantages but one of the main ones is that we can update digital data in real time. Any changes to product information, new added lines or colours can be added as and when they need to be. This also increases accuracy of product information compared to printed marketing materials.
Choosing a digital format over a printed brochure enhances accessibility and reach in various ways. Digital materials are more inclusive and can be distributed to a larger, more diverse audience. They are also easier to update and keep current, making them a more flexible and efficient means of communication and marketing. Additionally, digital formats can be designed with accessibility features like screen readers, text-to-speech, and adaptable font sizes, making them more inclusive for individuals with any special requirements. Digital assets can also be easily shared via email, social media, websites, and other digital platforms, allowing for wider distribution.
Considering the production of physical marketing tools like our brochure, there is a significant time spent on design and collating the information together. This time is more useful spent on several other digital focused projects. When we consider the actual monetary cost of producing these brochures including print, delivery and distribution, this investment could be put towards other means that will help our customers grow. Over-all digital alternatives offer businesses unlimited flexibility in what they can offer customers, and these solutions are by and large more cost-effective, and socially responsible.
