We got to chat to the Product Team at AWDis Brands, and here's what they had to say about their latest release:

The JH120 is nothing like the rest of the Just Hoods range. What were the thoughts behind launching it?

With consumers becoming more educated on fabric weights, the demand for heavyweight hoodies has exploded. With this particular hoodie, it has been styled based off current heavyweight hoodie trends; oversized, boxy fit with no drawcords.

How do you see the JH120 being used within the print and embroidery industry?

We believe that this will be used largely in retail, merchandise, winter use and caters to the general heavyweight market. This can, and will, be printed by screen, DTG, DTF and it will also be embroidered. We have already had great feedback on all of the embellishment methods mentioned!

What makes it stand out from other brands in the industry with heavyweight options?

Currently, heavyweight hoodies are typically made with inferior carded cotton to balance the cost of using more cotton (heavier fabric). We however have not done this, we have used ringspun cotton so the hand feel, quality, and longevity of this fabric is much better. We have also included a phone pocket within the main pocket for extra functionality. The 2x1 tight rib is crucial in creating the shape as it allows the sleeves and body to drape creating the perfect oversized fit and the 440gsm gives it a real heavyweight and premium feel.

And lastly, what is your favourite colour and, why?

My favourite colour is Natural Stone – it’s versatile and in keeping with current colour trends!
