What is CICLO?
CICLO is a patented technology designed to help synthetic fibres such as polyester and nylon break down more quickly in environments where these materials would otherwise persist for long periods.
The technology works by adding an ingredient to the fibres during manufacturing, helping to reduce their long-term impact and address the issue of synthetic microfibre pollution.
What does CICLO mean for Fruit of the Loom?
Fruit of the Loom has introduced its first ranges featuring polyester containing CICLO technology: the Iconic 250 Sweats and Iconic Premium Sweats.
Both ranges combine the comfort and decoration potential decorators expect from Fruit of the Loom with CICLO technology incorporated into the polyester fibres.
Iconic 250 Sweat
The Iconic 250 range includes four core styles across 10 colours, giving printers and embroiderers plenty of choice for workwear, merchandise, leisurewear and other decorated clothing orders.
Each style is made from 80% combed ringspun cotton and 20% polyester containing CICLO technology. A 100% combed cotton outer provides a smooth surface for print and embroidery, while the brushed inner adds comfort for everyday wear.
With versatile colours, dependable decoration results and an easy-to-wear feel, the range is a practical option for customers looking for comfortable sweats with CICLO technology incorporated into the polyester fibres.
Iconic Premium Range
For customers looking for a more premium option, the Iconic Premium range includes six styles made from 70% combed ringspun cotton and 30% polyester containing CICLO technology.
The range is designed to deliver the durability and performance needed for regular wear, alongside a quality surface suitable for decoration.
With six styles available, decorators have more options to meet different customer requirements while offering garments that incorporate CICLO technology.
